Dr. Johnson
Dr. Johnson lived in eight states before the age of eight, but when his family settled in Arvada at age ten, he knew Colorado was where he wanted to stay. He loves being close to the mountains and enjoys an active lifestyle out in the natural beauty of Northern Colorado.
He attended Arvada West High School during the era of big hair bands (or as his son says, in the 1900s). He earned a bachelor’s degree in Zoology with an emphasis in human biology from Brigham Young University in 1996. He completed his dental training at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in 2001 and later a residency at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia where he received a Master’s degree in Periodontics in 2004. Dr. Johnson met his wife, Valerie, on a blind date and they have been married since 1995. They have enjoyed raising their three daughters and one son in Fort Collins. They all love traveling, having adventures, and making memories as a family. One of their most fond memories is the 3 weeks they spent in Apia, Samoa on a dental mission with their kids as well as their work family.
Fluent in Spanish after serving a two-year mission in northern Chile, Dr. Johnson gets to surprise patients by speaking with them in their native language. He also uses it while serving in the Spanish congregation of his church. A sports enthusiast and lifelong learner, Dr. Johnson can often be found reading, exploring new interests, or simply enjoying time with others. His favorite part of being a periodontist is getting to know his patients, their stories, their goals, and learning how he can help them achieve optimal periodontal health.
Alysse,

Alysse joined our practice in June 2025, as a Registered Dental Hygienist and quickly became a valued part of our periodontal care team. She is passionate about helping patients improve their oral health and takes pride in creating a comfortable, supportive experience for everyone she treats. Alysse’s dedication to clinical quality earned her the Hu-Friedy Clinical Excellence Award, recognizing her strong skills and commitment to patient-centered care.
A Fort Collins native, Alysse loves being part of a community she has always called home. She is also a proud mother of two and enjoys spending her free time building miniature models, puzzles, spending time in nature, and making memories with her family.
Annie,
Dental Assistant
With 23 years of experience as a dental assistant, Annie brings extensive knowledge and a calming presence to our periodontal team. She is passionate about assisting with periodontal procedures and is dedicated to ensuring every patient feels supported, informed, and comfortable throughout their treatment.
A proud Fort Collins native, she loves raising her two daughters in the community she calls home. Outside the office, she enjoys going on adventures with her 2 daughters, organizing necessities for local charities, and spending time outdoors.
Chandler,
Office Manager
Chandler is our Office Manager who joined us in September, 2025. She keeps everything running smoothly and makes sure our patients always feel welcome! Before joining the dental world, she proudly served in the U.S. Air Force, stationed in Ramstein, Germany, and Albuquerque, New Mexico. After her military service, Chandler traded flight lines for fermenters, spending some time as a brewer at a small microbrewery in Iowa before earning her degree in Business Administration from Colorado State University (Go Rams!).
Originally from Oregon, she loves traveling, exploring antique shops, and relaxing with her cat, Jeter.
Lauri
Insurance Coordinator
Lauri brings over four decades of experience to our periodontal team, having worked in dentistry since 1979. Her extensive knowledge, genuine compassion, and commitment to patient care make her an invaluable part of our practice. Lauri is passionate about helping people feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their dental care.
Outside the office, Lauri enjoys a full and active life. She is a devoted wife, mother of four, and proud grandmother to six energetic grandchildren. When she’s not spending time with her family, you can often find her outdoors, especially on the pickleball court or enjoying nature in any form. Lauri’s dedication, warmth, and long-standing expertise help create the welcoming, patient-centered environment our practice is known for.
Arminta,
Sterilization technician
Arminta is new to the dental world and joined us September 2025 and as our sterilization technician. Her attention to detail ensures that all of our instruments and equipment are clean, sterilized, and ready to go so our team can focus on providing great patient care. She loves being a part of the team and helping keep our environment clean and safe for both patients and staff.
In her spare time, she LOVES reading. Her favorite book is Jane Eyer.
Kylie,
Treatment Coordinator
Kylie started with us as our patient coordinator in November of 2023 and has recently moved into her new role as treatment coordinator. Kylie is known for her friendly personality and genuine compassion for every patient who walks through our doors. With a big heart and a dedication to helping others, she goes above and beyond to make sure our patients feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in their dental care. Her attentiveness and positive energy help create a welcoming environment where patients know they’re in good hands.
Kylie grew up in Wyoming, Colorado and Nebraska and has lived in Fort Collins for the last two years. She loves being close to her family and spending time with them!
